Wild Fish
I dont really know much about wild fish but i thought i would give you a bit of info about 1 wild fish the fish i have chosen to give you info about is the African Tiger Fish.

Appropriate home. Eventually a very large aquarium with an exterior power filter with a BIO-Wheel, and a maximum of 1/4 inch of gravel. The water temperature should be between 75 and 80 degrees F.

Recommended Diet. African Tiger Fish eat smaller fish and crustaceans such as live Ghost Shrimp and larger shrimp sold in supermarkets for human consumption.

Compatibility. I have kept very few African Tiger Fish in our aquariums, and we have kept those fish for only a few weeks. So i don't have much first hand information about compatible tank mates.

Size and Life Span. African Tiger Fish grow to be 30" long. Their life spans are unknown to my knowledge, but they probably live for many years.
